Northwest Flora I
Sixth in a series called "Vignettes of Natural Chaos "
A semi-sculptural work of many textures
I see the leaves of these northwest indiginous plants quietly waving
to us from deep inside a northwest forest
along the currents of a westerly wind
(acer macrophyllum leaves and bark)
Duck Foot (Vancouvaria planipetia leaves and flower buds)
Daffodil (Narcissus - IceFollies flower and leaves)
42" x 30"x 2"
fiberglass screen, sculpted celluclay, acrylic paint and string
Viewpoint inside the the woodlands along the Columbia Scenic Highway
It is in New York now on the wall of a true admirer.
